About the Pumpkin Patch game
Pumpkin Patch review
This is a review of Pumpkin Patch.
Theme and Storyline
Pumpkin Patch is an agriculture-themed game set in a patch beset by squirrels and birds. The game's childish design clashes a bit with its gambling context but still adds a cute flair.
Graphics, Sounds and Animations
The game's graphics are kid-friendly but decently drawn with a variety of animations. The background music is a banjo track perfect for the rural setting but may be better muted. Overall, the design may not be the best, but it's not the worst either.
Gameplay
Pumpkin Patch's base game is a typical five by three slot game with special features that add some fun. The game has 25 winlines that can win from left to right or right to left. There's also a Pumpkin feature that turns any Pumpkin symbol into a Wild that expands to cover its reel before winnings are calculated.
Wilds, Bonuses and Free Spins
Pumpkin Patch has two wild symbols: the word 'Wild' and a scarecrow. Both substitute for all other symbols. Three or more scarecrow symbols trigger the free spins bonus. The free spins counter starts at 8 and is added to by Corn symbols that appear in a winning combo in the base game or free spins. If the counter reaches 30 in the base game, it triggers the free spin bonus.
Bet Sizes, RTP and Variance
Pumpkin Patch has a high return to player of 98.18%, in line with Habanero's strategy of offering favorable returns. The range of bets on the site tested ranged from $/£/€0.40 per spin to $/£/€50.00 per spin. The game's volatility is medium, which can be matched with slot strategies, but something with more variance may be preferred.
Conclusion
Pumpkin Patch is a childish and irritating slot machine with lost potential. The high return to player isn't enough to make up for the game's design, and we do not recommend it.
